About Maz-Sport

Contact Maz-Sport

Maz-Sport was formed in the early 80s. Brian Connell has been building and modifying Rotary Engines for some 30 years. Maz-Sport has had excellent results with their engines at race, rally and circuit. Now Maz-Sport have produced a 20B Peripheral Ported, Fuel Injected Supercharged engine, which at the moment is being used for Drag racing with great success.

Most of the work is done in-house. Fabrication work is also done in-house. All porting is done by Sparking Machines and is very accurate. All that needs to be done is polishing.

Maz-Sport also have a wide range of new and used parts. Cusco Clutches, Suspensions etc. Rotors, PP Housings.

My name is Simon Harper and I am employed as a mechanic at Maz-Sport. Recently we completed our drag car, A series 5 RX7 running a 20B PP. As the driver of the car I get a real buzz out of trying new things to further enhance the already tremendous torque and horsepower of this beast. The feeling of a 20B at full noise is something that is not easy to put into words. Probably the closest thing would be a Boeing on take off as the forces that push me into the seat are huge.

I have been involved with rotaries for the past 8 years having owned several RX3s and a couple of RX7s and various other contraptions. We here at Maz-Sport strive to provide an honest, friendly service to all who visit us, we are always open to new ideas and enjoy the challenge of turning someone's dream into a reality which can be driven hard for as long as it needs to be.

With the constant development of both the RX7 and my own 13B PP RX3 we will continue to produce top quality systems to help keep you ahead of the rest.
